Labelled advertisement for Nintendo's upcoming game Super Smash Bros Ultimate as my submission for The Language of Persuasion project. I took my own creative liberties by making the Advertisement instead of finding one. Please note that due to formatting issues I was unable to successfully put the advertisement on this website, to view it click here
Link to the quiz a couple of friends and I created to show how some countries flags are much more commercialized than others, despite the popularity of the country as a whole. You can find it here
Link to my Google Slides presentation regarding the recent ad for the new generation of smartphones by Samsung and how it uses commonly referenced tools of persuasion in advertising and cultural subtext. You can find it here
In this project for responding to commercial media, I made the creative decision to re-create a fisher price ad from the 1990's in the style of Adbusters, a website which is known for creating satirical and parody advertisements created in an attempt to make a statement about popular culture. For this ad, I used photoshop to alter this seemingly innocent display of a child with their new play-set into a statement about the dark truth surrounding e-cigarette company Juul and the way they market their products (which contain heavy amounts of nicotine) to children and teens.

Student led film presentation: Dunkirk
A small group consisting of my fellow students and I have developed a presentation to display the cultural impact of the box office breaking film, Dunkirk. We developed this presentation to encourage viewers to watch movies with the intent to learn something meaningful from the feature. I hope you enjoy! LINK
